The waterless green vitriol shows white powder, when it contains crystalized water, it shows the light green crystal. When it is dissolved in water, the solution will be light green. Green vitriol can be used as the reagent for chromatography analysis, as well as analyzing and measuring platinum, selenium, nitrite and nitrate in dropping method. Green vitriol can also be used as reducing agent and to manufacture ferrite, pure water, polymer catalyst, and it can also be used in photography.
